"This shoot was all about form, color and symmetry. We wanted to create restrictions using a limited color palette and props, and explore the potential within those boundaries. Anna, the stylist, brought so much to this concept."

"Zana the model was incredible to work with. She remained present throughout the day and had such an amazing energy. We ended up shooting 7 different setups that worked beautifully – I'm super stoked with the results. Captured on the Hasselblad X1D, the subtle details in the shadows and richness of the color and tones will really come through once printed."
THE CREATIVE PROCESS
The props were created by Anna Verloren van Themaat and her partner Reep Verloren. The cones and circular props were designed as technical drawings and brought to life on a laser cutting machine using medium-density fibreboard for the circular props and a studio backdrop roll for the cones.
