Our Cape Town branch is the SunshineCo HQ.

Lights

Sunshine Cape Town houses the largest selection of photographic lighting equipment available for rental in SA. Offering brands like Profoto, Arri, Broncolor to name a few, we have you covered whether you need flash or constant lighting.

Cameras

This is combined with a large selection of digital camera gear including Canon, Nikon, Sony, Phase One and Hasselblad cameras. As well as an ever expanding video rental list.

Action

Added to our list of services are our immaculate production vans and brand new studio, now available for bookings.

Naturally we also have a big range of accessories such as tripods, scrims, reflectors, grips, stands, c-stands and more to keep you happy, whether you’re shooting in the studio or out on location.

Studio

We have added a brand new, beautiful studio to our Cape Town repertoire.

The studio features a high ceiling with built-in infinity curve, plenty of space, private bathroom and kitchen with a brand new Lazzara coffee machine.

Studio hours are from Monday – Friday 09h00 – 18h00, but please feel free to contact us if you would like to book outside of these hours. Please note that a before and after hours overtime rate of R450 per hour (ex VAT) may apply. Please also note that painting of the curve will be charged at R10 per m2. Shoots on a weekend or public holiday will incur a surcharge of R700 (ex VAT).

Parking: You are welcome to make use of the loading bay in Jordaan Street to off load equipment, there after please park in either Jordaan / Whitford or Peace street for the day (all free parking).
