How to Hire

We have done our best to make renting equipment from SunshineCo as easy as possible. There are however a few steps to creating an account for new clients to ensure the safety and return of equipment.

Step I

Individual

Please download and complete the NEW CLIENT APPLICATION FORM and return it along with a copy of your ID/drivers license and proof of residence (not older than 3 months) to [email protected] so that we may add you to our system.

*Please note that New Client Applications take 48Hours to process.

Company

Please download and complete the NEW CLIENT APPLICATION FORM FOR COMPANIES and return it along with a copy of the director’s ID/drivers’ license, proof of residence not older than 3 months and a copy of your company registration documents to [email protected] so that we may add you to our system.

*Please note that New Client Applications take 48Hours to process.

Step II

If you or your company would like to rent equipment, please download and complete the relevant Rental Application forms and send back to [email protected]

Step III

Once your account has been created you can either browse our online catalogue and request a quote straight from our website, or download the latest digital catalogue and request a quote by sending an email to [email protected] with a list of the equipment you would like to rent.

How our rentals work

Our office hours during Summer are Monday to Friday 08h00-18h00 and Saturday 09h00-13h00.
Our office hours during Winter are Monday to Friday 09h00-17h00 and closed on Saturday & Sunday.

In Summer:
If your shoot day is on a weekday you will collect your gear the day before
between 15h00-18h00 and then return it the day after between 08h00-10h00.
If your rental falls over a weekend, say for a Saturday, you would collect on Friday afternoon between
15h00-18h00 and return on the Monday morning only between 08h00-10h00.
If your rental falls on a Sunday you would collect on Saturday between 11h00-13h00 and return Monday between
08h00-10h00.

In Winter:
If your shoot day is on a weekday you will collect your gear the day before
between 15h00-17h00 and then return it the day after between 09h00-10h00.
If your rental falls over a weekend, say for a Saturday/Sunday, you would collect on Friday afternoon between
15h00-17h00 and return on the Monday morning only between 09h00-10h00.

Payment:
We require payment upfront when you collect your equipment.
You are welcome to pay by Credit or debit card and cash. Should you wish to EFT your payment this will need to be arranged and paid at least 3 working days beforehand and a proof of payment will need to be sent to us at [email protected]
