Fujifilm South Africa brand ambassador Jaco S. Venter will be showcasing his series of photos that was taken whilst on tour with local rapper Jack Parow’s TV show called “Dis Hoe Ons Rol”. Presented by Parow, the show visited legendary music venues and interviewed musicians and all sorts of colourful characters along the way – all through the rhythm of local music.
Jaco started his career as a professional drummer for Capetonian Afrikaans alternative rock band Fokofpolisiekar in 2003. After a very successful few years with the band, they decided to take a break and later Jaco and a couple other musician friends formed a new band called AKING.
In 2015 Fokofpolisiekar launched their own craft beer brand called Fokof Lager. We are fortunate enough to have Fokof Lager on board for this event, so if you are over 18 and enjoy a cold beer, feel free to join us for a cold one whilst enjoying the awesome work that will be on display.
